Yahoo Boys: University students nabbed by EFCC for N16m internet scam

What a shame!  The EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office, has arrested five suspected undergraduate scammers. Four from the Federal Uni of Technology Akure [FUTA] and one from Adekunle Ajashin Uni, Akungba, [AAUA].

The desperate young men were picked up at an off-campus residence located at Anuoluwapo Close, Stateline Hotel Road, off FUTA South Gate, Akure, Ondo State.

The suspects are between the ages of 20 and 23, their names are:

Adeleke Paul, 21, Adebiyi Tayo Abudu, 22, Akinsanmi Olusola Adeniyi 21, Ogundile Ademola James, 23 and Okali Ugochukwu, 21.

Corper, Three Others Arrested for Robbery; Lured Lady through Facebook, Stripped Her

The Anambra state Police Command have arrested nine suspects including a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) over alleged armed robbery and kidnapping.

Police PRO, DSP Ali Okechukwu, made the disclosure on Thursday in Awkuzu, while briefing journalists. He said the arrest, carried out by officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) was as a result of information volunteered by the public.

Maxwell Chiwaya, 36, from Unyolo Village TA Chikumbu, Mulanje, Malawi is currently being  treated for burns from his knees to his penis and stomach after his 33-year-old wife poured hot water on him as revenge for cheating on her.

The incident occurred when a business person came to Chiwaya's house in Area 49 to collect cash for items Chiwaya's husband got some time back.

This is Barbaric: Driver & conductor r*pe and rob Lagos job seeker (photo)

The police in Lagos have arrested a commercial bus driver, identified only as Akeem, and his conductor, Sodiq, for allegedly robbing and r*ping a 22-year-old lady in the Costain, Iponri area of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Akeem and Sodiq, along with two others still at large, had picked the victim, Mercy (pseudonym) from the Obalende area, and were supposed to head for the Victoria Island where the victim reportedly had a job interview.

It was gathered that Mercy, who hails from Otupko, Benue State, and holds a Nigerian Certificate in Education, on March 10, had been called by a friend to attend the job interview.

Heeyaa!!! Female Student assault, Killed on Her Way to Write Exam

The family of a 20 year old young lady, Joan Egemba, have been thrown into mourning after their daughter was stabbed and strangled by some suspected r*pists in the Ijebu Igbo area of Ogun State.

Joan, who bagged a National Diploma (ND) in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, enrolled for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

She left her home in Sango-Ota at 12noon on Thursday, March 3, for the National Open University of Nigeria centre in Awa Ijebu, where she was posted to sit for the exam the following day.

It was learnt that on Thursday evening, she was abducted at the Ijebu Oru Junction – a few distance away from the centre – by persons suspected to be r*pists.
