APC Party Begs PDP MEMBER To Join Them – Reveals Why They Want Him Back

JUST IN!!! APC PARTY BEGS PDP MEMBER TO JOIN THEM – REVEALS WHY THEY WANT HIM BACK
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is reportedly making a demand for the return of former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu.
Reports credited to Premium Times have it that the Adamawa state chapter of the APC is saying that Ribadu, who is now a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to return to the party where they claimed he truly belongs.

Ribadu, one of the founding leaders of the APC, having contested Nigeria’s presidency under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria but left for the PDP shortly before the 2015 general elections. In 2015, the former anti-graft agency boss was the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Adamawa state in 2015 after leaving the APC due to the impeachment of ex-governor, Murtala Nyako by the state House of Assembly in 2014.
Ribadu was said to have been deeply disappointed that the leadership of the APC could not help Nyako avoid the impeachment, a major reason for his defection. But in a letter by Saidu Naira, the acting secretary of the Adamawa state APC, the former presidential candidate was asked to return ‘home’. “Given your track records and progressives nature, we strongly belief APC is where you belong to.
“We are also mindful of the efforts and contributions you made during the merger without which the merger would have been difficult.
“To this end we reaffirm our request for you to come home to APC and assist and contribute to the success of the APC government both at state and national level,” the letter dated June 22 read in part. As at the time of filing this report, Ribadu could not be reached for his comment on the recent development within the party.
Meanwhile, Ribadu is said to be under pressure from PDP to serve as its national chairman in order to put an end to the crisis in the party as well as reorganise the party and save it from total collapse to reclaim power in 2019.
The PDP has also apologized to Nigerians for ‘whatever role’ it played in creating a toxic political atmosphere in the country. The party lamented that the toxicity has reached the level where the finer points of national conversation are drowned out in shouts and screams across the political divide. According to the opposition, it would henceforth focus only on proffering cogent and competent solutions to the issues facing the nation.
