Baddo on his arrest
Residents of the Ikorodu area of Lagos state are currently buzzing with the arrest of a notorious criminal that has unleashed mayhem on people over a long period of time.
Only few have lived to tell the story after their encounter with a notorious Ikorodu armed robber and cultist popularly known as ‘Baddo’ which is a street name for socially-exposed people.
All hell broke loose in the early hours today, Sunday, 12th of June, 2016 as residents raised alarm after he attacked a lady in her house. Baddo who is known to clean the private parts of his female victims with handkerchiefs after r*ping and beating them met his waterloo in a shocking fashion.
Currently lying in cemetery is a 60 year old woman who was brutally raped and stabbed to death by Baddo according to rumours.
While many are still haunted and plaqued by their encounter with the daredevil street urchin, they are patiently waiting for the Kabiyesi (King) to release him to the mob who can’t wait to unleash terror on him by an act of jungle justice which is fast becoming a norm in Nigeria despite the police expressing indifference to the barbaric act.
As at press time, He was in the king’s palace. Over 5 police divisions are in the king’s palace to make sure sanity is restored and his fate is not decided by jungle justice.
