The Legendary Reggae singer, Majek Fashek, has expressed his gratitude to God for a second chance at life after suffering a major setback in his career due to his addiction to stimulants.

‘The Rain Maker’ who recently  thrilled fans at the Felabration 2015 spoke with the Nation revealing his gratitude to God.

According to him, “I am happy, and give God thanks to be among the living today” while noting that what he has gone through with drugs is actually what is affecting lots of singers in the world.

“From rock music, to highlife, to reggae, it is the same story. Quite often, many entertainers feel that they need to be high on drugs in order to perform,” he also noted.

He also added that he has now created a new habit on how to inspire himself before performing rather than taking drugs.
