reports have just been revealed that, President Muhammadu Buhari will not occupy
the office of Petroleum Minister as earlier speculated.
According to a report by The Oil and Gas Year, an unnamed spokesperson for the presidency confirmed that the President Buhari would leave the portfolio vacant while playing a supervisory role.

It is yet to be known which of the Presidential Spokesperson gave the revelation as the President has Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina acting as official media aides to the President.
Shehu is the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity while Adesina is the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
