Actually, it was really a downpour of praises on veteran
Nigerian filmmaker, Tunde Kelani recently when a partnership was sealed
between Film One Distribution and Mainframe Productions.
Speaking in preparedness of the February 20 cinema premiere of a new flick by Kelani, 'Dazzling Mirage', the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Film One Distribution, Kene Mkparu said Kelani has impacted positively on the Nigerian film industry.
Mkparu said, "We are proud to be associated with the work of a man of purpose, whose commitment to continued high end production values has remained consistent over the years. He is an iconic figure in the film making industry in Nigeria and we have no doubt in our minds that ‘Dazzling Mirage’ will do well at the box office and also enlighten many about the sickle cell disease."
The film stars celebrities which includes Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju, Kunle Afolayan, Seun Akindele, Taiwo Ajayi – Lycett, Bimbo Manuel, Carol King and Yomi Fash Lanso.
In his response, Kelani said, “The movie is a love story, one of a kind that will certainly dazzle the audience aims to raise awareness about the sickle cell condition and to aid people in making better informed decisions.”
The film is about a sickle lady who was caught in the web of two lovers and was determined to live life to the fullest.
